Joe McCabe passed away on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026. Peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at Padre Pio Unit, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Longford.
Predeceased by his parents Felix and Annie, infant son Felix, brothers Matthew, Barney, Monsignor Albert and his sister Kathleen also his cousins Nan and Sr. Gabriel .
Sadly missed by his loving family, wife Josie, son Sean/John, daughter Imelda, grandchildren Ella and Rián, brother Kieran, sisters Sr. Ita, Anna, Josie and Olive, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Joanne, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Glennon’s Funeral Home, Oaklands, Longford (N39 EC81) on Thursday from 6.00pm with prayers at 8.00pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 o’clock in St. Mary’s Church, Edgeworthstown. Burial afterwards in Aughafin Cemetery
