Jimmy Leyden died on Tuesday, September 30th,  peacefully, surrounded by his family in the devoted care of the staff of Roscommon Hospice.

Beloved husband of Jean and much loved Dad to Caroline, Michael and Laura and also to his stepsons; Mark and Lee. He will be forever missed by his family, his adored grandchildren; Jessica, Emma, James, Lottie, Maeve and Tom, brothers, John, Joe, Patrick and Terry, sister Margaret, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Jimmy is predeceased by his parents Michael and Jean, brother Michael and sister Mary.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 6.30 o’clock. Removal from his home on Friday morning at 10.30 o’clock,  arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Roscommon Hospice.
