James Mahon
James Mahon died on Thursday, January 29th, 2026. Peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Margaret; brother, Francey; brothers-in-law, Mike Prunty and Mickey Quinn; and his nephews, Johnathan Mahon and Richie Quinn.
Sadly missed by his family: his wife and best friend, Teresa; daughters, Geraldine, Mary, Angela and Teresa and son, James. Remembered by his daughter-in-law, Aisling (née Carr); sons-in-law, Liam Macken, Tony Finn and Eddie Quinn. Adored by his grandchildren, Conor, Orla, Darragh, Niall, Enda, Aideen, Clodagh, Oisín and Páidí. Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, his good neighbours and dear friends.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, N39KN66, on Friday 30th from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 7.30pm.
Removal from his home on Saturday 31st to arrive to St. Mary's Church, Ennybegs, Killoe, N39AH01, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Following Mass, James will be laid to rest in Cullyfad cemetery. Mass can be viewed live click via: https://www.churchservices.tv/killoe
