Gerry Grady died on Thursday January 1st, 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff in ICU at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, after a short illness bravely borne.
Pre-deceased by his parents; Pat & Annie-Mae, brothers; Declan and Noel and sisters; Anne and Marie.
Forever loved and missed by his heartbroken wife Marie, daughters; Michelle and Aishling, grandsons; Brandon, Evan and Eli, sons-in-law; Con and Paul, brothers; Pat Joe, James and Anthony, sisters; Chrissie, Bernadette, Alice, Doreen, Carmel, Sandra, Linda and Heather, aunt Philomena, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Saturday (Jan. 3rd) from 5.30 o’clock until 7.30 o’clock Removal from his home on Monday morning (Jan. 5th) arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Knockcroghery for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Gailey Cemetery.
