Geraldine Cafferty (née Gallagher) died on Tuesday, 10th March. Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff at Innis Ree Nursing Home, Ballyleague.
Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Mamie, sisters; Catherine and Mary and by loving niece Rose-Anna.
Deeply regretted by her loving family, husband Frank, sons; Justin, Norman and Robert and beloved Grandson Dylan. Remembered by her daughter-in-law Suzanne, sisters; Eileen Jennings and Anne Eivers and brother Johnny Gallagher. Deeply regretted by her sisters-in-law; Leonie and Anita. Brother-in-law Frank, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Geraldine was an enthusiastic bridge player, an amateur artist, accomplished flower arranger and a passionate protector of local wildlife.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford (N39 EC81) on Friday 13th March from 6.00pm, concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday 14th March in St.Mary’s Church, Lanesboro at 1.00pm, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium at 4.00pm.
