Evelyn Emma Parkes (Née Gullon) died on Wednesday 27th August peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.
She was given exceptional care by all the staff on Garbally Ward, Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe.
Predeceased by her parents Grace and Charles and sisters; Jean and Brenda.
She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her heartbroken family, son Richard daughter Suzanne, daughter-in-law Connie, adored grandchildren; Sarah-Louise, Sean, Callum, Grace, Molly and Alfie, brother John, sister Gloria, sister-in-law Margaret, nephew David, niece Lisa, and extended loving family, friends and neighbours in Ireland, Bermuda, Australia and England.
Evelyn will lie in repose in Leavy’s Funeral Home, Scramogue (F42 FD78) on Sunday 31st August from 5-7pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday September 1st at 4pm in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Donations in lieu of flowers, in memory of Evelyn Parkes to Garbally Ward palliative care, Portiuncula University Hospital, Garbally, Demesne, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, H53 T971 or C/O Tully’s Funeral Directors, Slatta, Kilglass, Co. Roscommon.
