Elizabeth (Lily) Dooner (nee Banks) passed away on Friday, January 9th, 2026. Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family.
Pre-deceased by her husband Michael (Mikey), parents John and Rose Banks, sister Mary, infant sister RoseAnne and by her brothers Tommy, John and Packie.
Sadly missed by her daughters; Regina, Patricia Connerton and Caroline Brady (Tulsk), sons; Michael, Sean and Kevin. Remembered by her daughters-in-law; Marie and Sandra, sons-in-law; Padraig and Eddie. Adored by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford (N39 EC81) on Sunday 11th January from 7.00pm concluding with prayers at 9.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection in St.Mary’s Church Ennybegs (N39 AH01) on Monday 12th January at 12.00noon. Lily will be laid to rest in Aughaboy cemetery.
