Eamon (Edward) Shine died on Thursday, 29th January 2026. Unexpectedly, following a long illness, surrounded by his loving family at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe.
Predeceased by his parents, Ned and Catherine.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and best friend, Helen; children Susan, Emma, Edward, Frankie, Peter and Eoin; son-in-law, Irwin; daughter-in-law, Megan and Edel; adored grandchildren, Aoife, Caitlin, Aliyah, Caolan, Ryan and Huey (Hubert); and their partners, brother, Peter; sisters, Nora, Mary, Rosie and Cathy; brothers-in-law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the Strand Funeral Home, Athlone on Sunday from 4pm to 6pm. Service and cremation on Monday in Shannon Crematorium.
House private and family flowers only please.
