Doreen Sharkey (née Sheehan) died on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the devoted care of the staff at the Roscommon Hospice.
Much loved wife of Noel, adored mother to Elizabeth and Jack and cherished daughter to Jim and Breda. Forever missed by her family, parents, her adored grandchildren; Iarla, Alannah, Éanna and Éabha, son-in-law John (McHale) daughter-in-law Yvonne, sisters; Kay and Mary, brothers; Pat, David and Jimmy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.
Doreen is predeceased by her sister Breda.
May Her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Mass of the Resurrection in the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon on Friday morning at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
