Declan Gavin passed away on Saturday, January 10th, 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the tender and loving care of the staff of Central Park, Nursing Home, Clonbern, Co. Galway.
Predeceased by his parents Kieran and Maura, brothers PJ, Eamon and John.
Sadly missed by his loving sisters Mary Burke (Clonlara, Co. Clare), Louisa Kelly (Glanduff), Carmel Galvin (Kent, UK), Frances Harrison (Cam) and Chris Ryan (Lisclooney, Co. Offaly), brothers Joe (Lucan) and Tony (Curramore), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many good friends.

Declan will repose at St Brigid's Funeral Home, Brideswell (N37 EK88) on Tuesday evening (January 13th) from 5 o'c with removal at 7 o'c to the Church of the Risen Christ, Ballybay, Kiltoom (N37 NY36) arriving at 8 o'c Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday morning (January 14th) at 11 o'c with Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
