Daniel Smyth passed away on Tuesday, 14th April 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff of the ICU at the Mater University Hospital Dublin.
Predeceased by his parents, Brian and Maureen, brother Peter and sister Mary (Keogh).
Beloved husband of Mary (Kenny) and treasured Dad of Anne Marie (Allen), Patricia, Elizabeth (Dunleavy), Breda (Brady), Danielle and Brian. Greatly missed by his family, sister Monica (Tynan), brothers Bernard, Pat and Vincent, brother-in-law John (Kenny). Missed by his sons in law Cormac, Brian and Edwin and daughter in law Halina. Remembered by his much-loved
grandchildren Daniel, Seamus, Patrick, Caoimhe, Donnacha, Sean, Lyla & Daniel. Deeply regretted by his extended family and a wide circle of wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home (N39DD85) this Thursday 16th April from 3.00pm to 7.00pm and on Friday 17 April from 3.00pm to 7.00pm. One way
system in place with entry via the front of his home (R396) and exit to the rear (R194) Cartronbore. Removal from his residence on Saturday morning, 18th April for funeral
Mass at 12.00pm at St. Bernard's Church, Abbeylara. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
