Christy (Christy) Maye passed away on Saturday 31st May, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness bravely borne under the wonderful care of the medical staff in the Hermitage Clinic, Lucan.
Predeceased by his parents ; John and Mary, his sister Eithne and his brother Liam.
Sadly missed by his wife Ellen, his son Jason, his daughters; Jillian (Cleary) and Lee-Anne. Always remembered by his son-in-law David Cleary. Cherished by his grandchildren, Anna, James, Holly and Heidi. Missed by his brother Johnny, sisters ; Kathleen (Hoare) , Mary (Freak) (Australia), Carmel (Cashel) and Madeline (O’Scolai) (Canada), sisters in law and brothers in law. Deeply regretted by The Norris Family (Curragh, Rosemount), nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, his many friends, staff members from the Greville Arms Hotel, Danny Byrnes, The Bridge Centre and the farm.

Reposing at his daughter Jillian’s residence, Dunboden, Kilbride N91 HK28 on Monday 2nd June from 3pm-7pm. (There will be a one way traffic management system in operation please travel via the Rochfortbridge road R400)House private at all other times please. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 o'clock in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Forgney followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. The mass can be viewed live on Forgney church facebook page. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Hooves for Hospice, c/o Tullamore Lions club.
