Carthage Kidney died on Wednesday, 24th June 2026. Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family.

Pre-deceased by his parents; Joseph and Elizabeth and sister Mary Kate. Sadly missed by his loving wife Betty (Bessie), son Gerard, daughter Majella, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lawless' Funeral Home, Mucklagh Village (R35 C5P6) on Thursday 25th June 2026 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, followed by Removal to St. Carthage Church, Killina. Requiem Mass on Friday at 10:00 am. Burial afterwards in Rahan Cemetery.

He was a gentlemen and a pleasure to meet and had a great impression on our customer you rest Carthage with all those good people gone before you and Im sure they will welcome you 🙏

Sincere sympathy to Betty & all the family on the death of Carthage. I had the pleasure of working with him in Shannonside Radio some years ago, one of the greats.
