Bernadette Masterson (née McStay) passed away on Sunday, 3rd May 2026. Peacefully, following an illness borne with bravery and dignity, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Kate Anne, and her grandson JJ.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her loving children Niamh (Flor), Peter (Mikaela), Diarmuid (Anna) and Emmet (Clíodhna); their father Michael; her adored grandchildren Fiadh, Maeve, Ivy, Florrie, Grace, Jack, Sadie and Sydney; her sisters Kitty, Breege, Mary, Anna, Sheila and Geraldine; her brother PJ; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; cousins; relatives; many wonderful friends and carers, especially Daniela.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her home at Firmullagh Rd, Moyne, Co. Longford (Eircode N39 P093) on Tuesday, 5th May, from 4pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm. The family will take a 15-minute break from 6pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 6th May, at 1 o’clock in St. Mary’s Church, Legga (N39 XK11), followed by burial in Legga Cemetery.
