Ann Brigid Murphy (nee Luby) passed away peacefully on Tuesday 24th February 2026 at Cavan General Hospital, following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her husband John, parents; Patrick and Anna, sisters; Nuala, Josie, Kate and Margaret and brothers; Patrick and Michael.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her heartbroken sons; Simon, Peter, and Thomas, her daughter-in-law Marie, adored grandchildren; Sophie and Isabelle, sisters; Eilish and Maureen (England), brothers; Brendan (Ballinalee, Longford), and Tom (Rockfield, Killeshandra), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Ann will be reposing at Lawlor’s Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet (H14 R583) this Thursday evening from 6pm until prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am in The Sacred Heart Church, Arva, followed by burial in Coronea cemetery.
