Cian McPhilips Talks New York Win

It’s been a whirlwind start to 2020 for Cian McPhillips setting a national U20 indoor 1500m record and winning the high school mile at the Milrose games in New York.

17-year-old McPhillips beat some of the best high school runners in America to win the junior New Balance Invitational mile, clocking an impressive 4:10.95.

McPhillips spoke to Dave Hooper on Saturday Sport along with his father Paddy McPhillips who is also a committee member of Longford A.C
