Planning lodged for major new housing development outside Carrick-on-Shannon

Plans are being sought for the construction of 30 new houses in Carrick On Shannon.

The housing development has been applied for by Ron Weisz and would be located at Mullaghmore Townland in Cortober near Carrick.

The development seeks 30 new homes consisting of 16 three bed semi-detached units, 10 four-bed semi-detached houses and 4 four bed detached homes.

Also included in the application is a designated open space, parking, landscaping and boundary treatments.

Roscommon County Planners will decide on the application in September.
