The new primary care centre in Carrick on Shannon is nearing completion and is due to open fully early next month. It will bring together local GP practises as well as many primary services including Public Health Nursing, Physiotherapy (Adult and Children) and Speech and Language Therapy. It's been a tough year for health service providers as well as the general public with resources directed into treating and dealing with Covid 19 but Emma Ball, General Manager, Primary Care, Sligo, Leitrim and West Cavan says this is a hugely positive story to have as we return to more normality. She has been speaking to Kevin McGillicuddy.
