Willie Gilchriest died on  Monday, 18th March peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Roosky, Co. Roscommon

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Rose, brothers; Robbie, Jimmy, Christy, his loving niece Teresa (Killoe) and recently deceased brother Frank in England.

Sadly missed by his family, brother Tommy (England), sister Eileen, grand-nephew Raymond, niece Elaine, his relatives here in Ireland and in England, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Connell’s Funeral Home, Church Street, Longford tomorrow (Tues) from six o’clock, concluding with prayers at seven o’clock. Funeral mass on Wednesday in St Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes at eleven o’clock, burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
