Tomás (Tom) Flannery passed away on Saturday, November 15th, 2025. Peacefully, at Mayo University Hospital Castlebar, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents: Frank and Bridget, brothers Michael, Sean, and Noel, and his sisters Nuala and Nell.
Loving husband of Carol and father to Jamie, Ciara and Nuala. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, his son and daughters, grandchildren: Annalise, Jacob, Fiadh, Ruadhán and Ada, his brother Seamus (Dublin) and his sister Annette (Finan, Castlerea), daughter-in-law, Shanna, sons-in-law Peter and Danny. Also, by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea (F45 V2Y4) on Tuesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea on Wednesday morning for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s cemetery, Castlerea.
