Tom Raftery died on Friday, March 13th, 2026; (peacefully) in the devoted care of the staff at Portiuncula University Hospital previously the loving care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Home, Roscommon.
Beloved husband of the late Anne (née Kilroe), son of the late Malachy and Kate, and brother of the late Nonie and Johnny.
He will be deeply missed by his sons; Paul and Aidan, sisters; Bridie and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon F42 NH27 on Sunday (March 15th) from 3.30 o’c until 5 o’c followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery. For those wishing to offer their sympathies, we suggest using the online condolence link below.
