Teresa Doherty died on Wednesday, 21st January 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. In the tender loving care of the nurse and staff at St. Patrick’s Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon.
Pre-deceased by her parents Thomas and Bridget, sister Norrie, brother-in-law Paddy O’Grady.
Sadly missed by her loving family. Sister Chrissy Foote (San Francisco), nephews; Ollie O’Grady (Boyle), Tommy and Patrick Foote (New York), nieces; Maureen Hamer (San Francisco) and Patricia Lovett (New Jersey), grand nephews, grand nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.
Teresa will repose at St. Patrick’s Hospital Chapel, Carrick-on-Shannon on Sunday 25th January from 5pm until 6:15pm followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon arriving at 7 o’clock.
Mass of Christian Burial on Monday 26th January at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon followed by burial in Templeronan Cemetery, Cloonloo, Co. Sligo.
