The death has occurred of Sr. Richard (Alicia) Dufficy

Dún Mhuire, Athlone, Roscommon / Boyle, Roscommon. Formerly of Boyle and Tulsk, Co. Roscommon.

Sunday 21st January 2024. Peacefully in the loving tender care of the management and staff at Oakwood Nursing Home, Roscommon.

Predeceased by her parents Dick & Sarah and her brother Jerome (Sligo).

Sr. Richard will be sadly missed by her sorrowing brothers Ritchie (Limerick) and M.J. (Limerick), sister Sr. Chris, sisters-in-law Evelyn, Betty and Máire, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, Sisters of Mercy Western Province and her many friends.

Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown, on Tuesday, January 23rd, from 3.30pm, followed Removal at 6.30pm to Strokestown Parish Church. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, January 24th, at 11am. Burial afterwards in the family plot in Kilcooley Cemetery.

Sincere condolences to her family and friends. Had the pleasure of her company in several Computer Classes I taught over the years. we had a great friendship. She will be sadly missed by a lot of people. RIP Sr Richard.
