Sergeant Patrick Cullen died on Sunday, November 16th, 2025. Peacefully, in the devoted care of the staff at Galway University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by his father Paddy. He will be forever missed by his much loved wife Josephine, sons; Paul, Patrick and John, daughter Maria, mother Ruth, adored granddaughter Esme, brother Craig, sister Siobhán, nieces, nephews, extended family, colleagues in the Defence Forces, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Tuesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Removal from his home on Wednesday morning at 10.30 o’clock arriving at St Mary’s Church, Ballagh for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Kilgefin Cemetery.
The Cullen family would sincerely like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses who helped care for Pat. They’d also like to acknowledge the Defence Forces along with their friends and neighbours for their kindness at this time.
