Sean Mitchell passed away on Saturday 11th of October 2025. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Sligo University Hospital following an illness.
Predeceased by his parents; Johnny and Mary-Ann, brother Cathal and his recently deceased sister; Breege (Gallagher).
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his children; Gavin and Aine, their mother Veronica; son-in-law Fergus, granddaughter; Maizy; sisters; Kathleen, Anne, Mary, Mena; brothers; Kevin and Seamus; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Sean will repose at the residence of his brother Seamus and sister-in-law Angela at Tawlaughtbeg, Mohill (N41WY49), on Sunday 12th October 2025 from 3pm until 7pm. Please note there will be a one-way traffic system in place for the reposing entering from the Carrick/Mohill road only and exiting at Eslin Bridge.
Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Mohill on Monday the 13th of October 2025 for funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
