Seán McKeon passed away on Monday, 6th July 2026. Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving wife and family in the excellent care of Night Nurse Brenda and the Palliative Care team.
Predeceased by his sisters; Margaret (Regan) and Amelia (Penny/Maher)
Forever missed by his beloved wife Sandie, daughters; Zoë (David) Dawn, Edel (Dean) & Alma, his treasured grandchildren; Ciara, Harry & Robbie and Maisy & Elsie, brother Tommy (Sheila), sister in-law Eilish (Pat Harvey), nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many close friends.

Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home, High St. Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, N41 TD62 this Tuesday evening, July 7th, from 6pm until 8pm.
Removal on Wednesday morning, July 8th, from his home to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballinamore, for Funeral Mass at 1pm.
Burial afterwards in Oughteragh Cemetery, Ballinamore.
Please note, after Mass the Funeral cortege will proceed on R208 towards St. John's Lake, turning right at the Dry Wall, passing Sean's beloved homeplace at Foxwood, and then continuing via Aughnasheelin and Stradermot to Oughteragh cemetery.
