Seamus O’Reilly died on Sunday 14th December, 2025. Peacefully at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe. Surrounded by his much loved family.
Predeceased by his parents Seamus and Philomena, brothers; Paddy, Tommy, Gerry, Ronald, David, Declan and Dessie, parents-in-law; Seamus and Hannah Fay (Cavan) and brother-in-law Noel (Cavan).
Forever missed by his beloved wife and best friend Kathleen, children; Joanna, Glenda and Gary and son-in-law Colin. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren; Aaron, Dylan, Theo, Baylee, Jaime, Hannah, Caileann, Jake, Éabhanna and Scott and goddaughter Amanda. Deeply regretted by his sisters; Breda and Caroline, brothers; Philip, Owen and Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Wednesday evening (Dec. 17th) from 4.30pm until 6.30pm . Removal from his home on Thursday morning (Dec. 18th) at 10.30 o’c arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’clock, followed by private cremation.
