Wednesday, June 17th, 2026. Peacefully, at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe Co Galway in her 95th year.
Sarah (Sally) O' Shea (née McCauley) is predeceased by her husband John (Retired Garda Siochana) and cherished eldest son John.
Greatly missed by her daughters, Joan (Roscommon) and Felicity (Clare) and her son Gerard (Kildare), sons-in-law Aidan and Dermot, daughter in-law Paule, her adored grandchildren Gerry, Nathan, Eoghan, Michael, Sorcha, Tom, Maud, Joe, Grainne, Emer, Conor and Niall, sister-in-law Kathleen McCauley, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday evening from 5.30pm until 7pm. Removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon (F42 XT96) on Saturday afternoon arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
The O’Shea, Farrell and Burke families would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who looked after and cared so well for Sally during recent years.
