Rose Farrell (nee McCormack) passed away on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025. Peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Inis Ree Nursing Home .
Pre-deceased by her husband William, parents Patrick and Mary Ann, sisters Eileen and Maura, brothers Peter, Andrew, John Joe and Pat.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Mary Rhatigan, sons Willie, Padraig, Tomás (Galway) and Anthony, sister Margaret, daughters-in-law Marie, Deirdre, Anne and Evelyn, son-in-law Martin, grandchildren Tomás, David, Amy, Daniel, Tanya, Sarah, Andrew, Léann, Gordon, Hannagh, Evan, Adam and Emma, great-grandchildren Riún, Cuán, Rosie, Grace, Esme and Ada, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Friday 19th December from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday 20th December in St.Mary’s Church, Lanesboro at 11,00am, interment afterwards in Clonbonny cemetery.
