Philomena (Ena) Doyle (née Lawless) passed away on Sunday August 31st 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the home of her daughter Marion and son-in-law Fintan Burke, Ballyforan. Two days short of her 91st Birthday.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom and son Kevin, her parents John & Margaret, her brothers PJ, Fred, Brendan, Michael John, Gerry, Kevin, Francis and sister Maureen.
Deeply regretted by her sons, P.J (Christine) (Sandfield), Tommy (Anne) (Scrine), Michael (Mary) (Sandfield), Leo (Clare), (USA), David (Erin) (USA) & John McCormack (Castlepollard), her daughters, Marion (Fintan) (Ballyforan), Annie (John) (Roscommon), Nora (Donie) (USA), Pauline (Kevin) (USA) & Deirdre (Dermot) (Carramunia). Missed by her brother Leo (Athlone), grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces & nephews, sisters- in- law, relatives, neighbours and her many good friends.
Reposing at St Brigid’s Funeral Home Brideswell (N37 EK88) on Wednesday evening 3rd September from 5pm to 8pm. Removal from her daughter and son-in-law Deirdre and Dermot Connaughton’s house on Thursday morning for 11 o’clock Funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Knockcroghery (F42 YE68) followed by burial in Cam Cemetery.
