Tuesday, 2nd April, 2024, peacefully, at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness bravely borne.

Peter Shanagher, predeceased by his loving wife Agnes, infant daughter Mary, parents Edward and Nora, sister Bridie and son-in-law Gerry Vesey.

Sadly missed and forever loved by his sons; Eddie (home) and Peter (Killina), daughters; Bridget McHugh (Castlerea), Nora Kilmartin (Kiltoom) and Tina Vesey (Lisalway) sons-in-law; John and Noel, daughter-in-law Anne Marie, grandchildren; Elaine, Leanne, Emma and Mark, great-granddaughter Bridget, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at O’Connor’s Funeral Home, Tulsk, F45 KD56 ,on Thursday 4th April from 5pm to 7pm.. Removal on Friday morning 5th April to the Church of SS Eithne and Fidelma, Tulsk arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Kilcooley Cemetery.

Our sincere sympathies to Eddie and all Peters family extended families. on the sad loss of your Dad. In our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. May his gentle soul. Rest in Peace.
