Peter Galligan passed away on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026. Peacefully, in the loving care of his devoted family.
Predeceased by his parents, Conor and Frances (née Moynagh), his brother Patrick, sister Sr. Margaret (Sisters of Mercy, Colwyn Bay) and his darling Grandson, Tiarnán.
Forever loved and sadly missed by his devoted family, loving wife Brigid, children Claire (Kevin), Paula (Kevin), Conor (Roslyn), Irene (Tim), Peter Paul, David (Laura). Sadly missed by his adored grandchildren who brought him such joy and happiness. Deeply regretted by his sisters Bridie Dobson, Mary Kraemer, brothers Connie, James, Brendan and Thomas, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Friday followed by removal to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mullahoran (N39 HN84) arriving at 6pm. Funeral mass on Saturday at 12 noon. Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
House private to neighbours and close friends
Family flowers only, donations in Lieu if desired to Féileacáin.
The Galligan family wish to sincerely acknowledge the dedicated care Daddy received in Cavan General Hospital and from his wonderful carers who looked after him with such care and dignity in our home.
