Patrick (Pat) Cahill

Patrick (Pat) Cahill died peacefully on October 17th 2025, surrounded by his loving family in Mullingar Regional Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Bridget; his brothers and sisters, Michael, John, Josie, Maisie; and his niece, Amanda.

Sadly missed by his family, brother, Jimmy; sisters, Kathleen Donnelly and Margaret Gilchrist. Remembered by his brother-in-law, Tom Donnelly; sisters-in-law, Fin and Ann. Deeply regretted by his nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his dear friends, especially Patsy Brady and Johnny Murray.

Think of him as living,
In the hearts of those he touched,
For nothing loved is ever lost,
And he was loved so much.

Rest in Peace, Pat.

Reposing in St. Anne's Church, Ballycloghan, Co Longford, on Sunday 19th from 5 o'clock, with prayers 7 o'clock.

Mass of the Resurrection on Monday 20th at 11 o'clock. Pat will be laid to rest in the family plot in Abbeyshrule Cemetery.

Family flowers only please; donations, if desired, to Longford Palliative Care c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.
