Paddy Purcell died on Thursday, September 11th, 2025, suddenly but peacefully at his residence.
Beloved husband to Mary, loving father to Ivan, Adrian and Edel and doting granfather to Jack. Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, grandson, brother John, sisters; Mary and Anne, daughter-in-law Stephaine, Ivan's partner Anne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many good friends, especially his colleagues on the Athleague Community Centre Committee.
Predeceased by father Bill, mother Teresa and brother Michael (Mickey).
Reposing at Hamrock's Funeral Home, Athleague on this Sunday (14th September) from 4pm to 6pm. Removal from his residence on Monday (15th September) to St Patrick's Church, Athleague arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Burial will take place afterwards in Athleague Cemetery.
