Owen (Owenie) Byron passed away on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025. Peacefully, on All Souls Day, after a short illness, surrounded by his family at Sligo University Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents Pat and Mary, his sister Rose (Durr) and brother-in-law Jack.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his sister Mary (Crennan, Dublin), brother-in-law Tommy Durr nephews Padraig, Hughie, TJ, Paul and Enda, nieces Rosemary, Suzanne and Fionnuala, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.

Owenie will lie in repose in The Gibbons Funeral Home Ballinagare, Wednesday evening from 6 o'clock with removal at 7:45 pm to the Church of the Sacred Heart Ballinagare arriving at 8 o'clock.
Mass of the Resurrection Thursday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Drummin Cemetery
