Nora Moran (née Taylor)

Nora Moran (née Taylor) passed away on Sunday, 11th of January 2026. Peacefully, at the Plunkett Nursing Home, Boyle surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Ellen and Thomas, brothers Michael, Jimmy,Thomas, Noel, sisters baby Rita, Sadie(USA), Mary and Helen.

Beloved wife of Tom and adored mother of Christina Mc Nama (Leitrim village) and Helen Cryan (Ballinameen). Deeply missed by her  family, grandchildren Senan, Noah and Alex.   Remembered by her son in laws Michael and Padraic, brother George (Ballinagare), sister Kathleen (Manchester). Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephews, wonderful neighbours and many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace

Nora will be reposing at Higgins and Sons Funeral Home (eircode F52 RC58) on Tuesday 13th of January from 5 to 7pm. House private please. Funeral mass Wednesday 14th of January at 12 noon in St Attractas Church, Ballinameen. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

On behalf of the Moran family, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the amazing staff of the Plunkett Nursing Home for the exceptional care, kindness and compassion shown to Nora through the last year. Your dedication, dignity and genuine warmth brought great comfort to her and to us as a family we will be forever grateful.
