Nora Mary Finan (née Scanlon) died on Wednesday, 11th March 2026, peacefully in Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. After a long illness bravely borne.
Predeceased by her baby daughter Mary Frances, her parents; John and Mary, brother Anthony and brother-in-law, Kieran Murray.
Sadly missed by her devoted husband Richard, her sister Kathleen (Murray), brothers; Jack and Seamus, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (F45 HH24) on Thursday evening from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Friday morning. Burial afterwards in Ballintubber Cemetery.
Nora’s funeral Mass will be live-streamed on St. Patrick’s Church webcam.
