Noel Prior passed away on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by his best friends and loving family in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Saint Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh, Co. Kildare.
Pre-deceased by his parents Maura and Noel and good friend Sarah Raouf.
An international man of mystery, sadly missed and remembered with love by loving family and close friends. Devoted and best friend Tanya, brothers John (Attirory) and Peter (Cootehall), sisters-in-law Geraldine and Marcena, daughter Meryl McGowan, nieces Lisa, Sarah, Caroline, Marian and Caoimhe, nephews, Oisín, Logan, Curtis and Mason, his loyal friend Tommy Simon, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends around the world.

Noel will repose at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon (N41 KP62) on Friday 5th June from 5 o’ clock until 7 o’ clock. Mass of Christian burial on Saturday 6th at 11 o’clock in St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon followed by Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 3 o’clock.
