Nancy Rooney (nee Goodwin) passed away on Monday, June 2nd 2025. Peacefully after a long and happy life, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, following a brief illness.
Pre-deceased by her parents Alec and Annie and by her brother Tom.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, her heartbroken husband and best friend Joe, her son Peter, daughters Majella and Lorraine Murtagh, daughter-in-law Anne, son-in-law James, sisters Marie and Pauline, brothers Alec, Noel and Peter, grandchildren Brian, Aisling, Dearbháile, Gary, Clodagh, Gráinne and Aidan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace .
Reposing at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home Chapel on Tuesday 3rd June from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday 4th June at 11.00am in St.Mel’s Cathedral, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery.
