Mike Joe McNamee died on Friday, 24th of October 2025, peacefully, aged 95 years, surrounded by his loving family. In the exceptional care of the staff of Lough Erril Nursing Home, Mohill.
Predeceased by his parents John-Joe and Rose McNamee, brother Luke and sisters; Mary, Annie and Bridget. Mike Joe will be sadly missed and remembered by his loving wife Margaret, daughters; Geraldine, Rose and Noeleen, sons-in-law; Padraig McKenna , Joe Brady and Seamus Smyth, cherished grandchildren; Niamh, Michael, James, Margaret, Marie, Paul, Shane, Emmet and Lynda, adored great-grandchildren; Rian and Elsie, his sister Rose, brother-in-law Joe, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many good friends both at home and within Lough Erril Nursing Home.
Reposing at Lough Erril Nursing Home, Mohill, Co. Leitrim (Eircode N41 XE39) this Sunday 26th of October from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm.
Funeral Mass on Monday 27th of October in St. Patricks Church, Ballinamuck arriving at 11 o’clock, followed by burial in Ballinamuck New Cemetery.
