Michael Whelan (O’Faolain) passed away on Saturday, December 13th, 2025. Peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Roscommon Hospice.
Sadly missed by his family, beloved daughters Karen and Michelle, sons Michael and Jonathan and their mother Rose. Remembered by his sisters Mary, Angela, Cathy and Patricia, daughters-in-law Brenda and Rachel, sons-in-law Aidan and Tony. Adored by his grandchildren Amy, Ryan, Karl, Jack, Rose, Ruby, Alex and Harrisson. Deeply regretted by his brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, Barbara and a wide circle of friends all over the world near and far.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford (N39 EC81) on Wednesday 17th December from 7.00pm until 9.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection in the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Rooskey on Thursday 18th December at 11.00am , followed by Cremation Service at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 2.00pm .
