Michael Gettings passed away on Wednesday, 1st of July 2026. Peacefully in the excellent care of the staff at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Rose, parents; Andrew and Margaret, brother Denis, grandchildren; Daniel, Katie and Mary.
Sadly missed and forever loved by his heartbroken family, children; Andrew, Patricia, Geraldine, Michelle, Caroline and Micheál.
Remembered by his Sons-in-law; John, David, Enda and Noel, daughters-in-law; Sharon and Fiona. Adored by his grandchildren; Claire, David, Edel, Shane, Sean, Sarah, Eleanor, Riain, Keeva, Emily, Maria, Luke, Michael and Evelyn. Deeply regretted by his brothers; Andrew, John and Seamus, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at his home at Ardagullion (Eircode N39XA61) on Friday the 3rd of July from 3pm to 6pm, followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church Granard, arriving at 7.30pm.
Funeral Mass on Saturday the 4th at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Granardkill new cemetery.
House private at all other times ,please.
A one way system will operate for the reposing on Friday. Please enter from the N55, (Granard to Edgeworthstown road) and exit via Lisryan road.
