Our beautiful Maye, in the care of the excellent staff of the Freyer Unit, Galway Clinic, surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her adored husband Seán, parents Katie and Paddy, sister Merci, brother Pat, brother-in-law Dannie and sister-in-law Margaret.

Dearest mother of Deirdre Scott-Russell (Athlone), Seán (Clonmel), Tara Langan (Grange, Sligo), Cáit Harlow (Roscommon) and Emmett (Ballyforan). Cherished grandmother to Sarah, Michael, Sineád, Katie, Aisling, Conor, Seán and Saoirse. Dearly loved mother-in-law to Emma, Jimmy, Tomás and Timothy. Beloved sister of Joe Barrett (Loughrea), sisters-in-law, Marie and Mabel, and brother-in-law Frank.

Maye will be sadly missed by her family, nephews, nieces, extended family and many great friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Dempsey’s Funeral Home, Ballyforan, on Sunday evening from 5pm to 7.30pm. Removal from her home on Monday morning to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballyforan for Funeral Mass at 11.30am which can be viewed live on this link

Burial afterwards in Dysart cemetery.
