Mary Murtagh (née Heavey) passed away peacefully,  surrounded by her loving family in the loving care of the nurses and staff of The Midland’s Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Pre- deceased by her parents, her husband John, daughter Geraldine McManus (Roscommon) and by her sister Sr.Assumpta.

Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Annette (Wicklow), Madeline Kapular, Bernadette Scally (Roscommon), Catherine Bannister, son Peter. Deeply regretted by her sisters Kathleen Leslie (South Africa), Francis (South Africa), brother-in-law Graham Leslie (South Africa). Always remembered by her  grandchildren Colin, Mark, Niamh, Sarah, Aoife, Caitlin, Eoin, Cai and Ming-Thuy, niece Jenny Leslie (U.K , relatives, neighbours and friends .

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home , Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Saturday from 5.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Sunday in the Church of the Blessed Virgin, Newtowncashel at 2.00pm, interment afterwards in Cashel cemetery .
