Mary McVeigh passed away peacefully on 12th July 2025 in the tender loving care of the nurses and staff at St. Patrick’s Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon.
Pre-deceased by her parents, Katie and Michael; brother, Johnny; sister-in-law, May; brothers-in-law, Frank, Benny and Michael; niece, Catherine.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family: devoted husband, John; daughter, Caroline (Louth); sons, Noel (Galway) and Paul (London); son-in-law, Barry; daughters-in-law, Áine and Trusha; cherished grandchildren, Callum, Caitlin, Méabh, Jamie and Rhea; sisters, Bridie Gilhooley and Margaret Murnaghan (Carrick-on-Shannon); nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Mary will repose at her residence (N41 K7P2) on Tuesday evening 15th July from 2.30pm until 4.30pm, followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon, arriving at 7 o’ clock. Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday 16th at 12pm, followed by burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
