Mary Lavin (Née Gordon) passed away on Tuesday, 19th May 2026. Peacefully, in ICU Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her parents Willie and Letitia, her brother Marty.
Ssadly missed and remembered with love by her loving family.
Her husband Paddy, son Gordon, daughters Niamh Bohan (Paul), Éadaoin, grandson Patrick, sister Nellie, nephews Dermot (Noelle) and Declan (Orla), grandnephews Mike, Lee and Daithi, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Mary will repose at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon (N41 KP62) on Thursday 21st May from 4 o’ clock until 6 o’ clock, followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon arriving at 7 o’clock. Mass of Christian burial on Friday 22nd May at 12 o’clock in St. Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carrick-on-Shannon.
