Mary Hughes (née Neilan) passed away on Tuesday, May 14th 2024, peacefully. Surrounded by her adoring family, in the warm and heartfelt care of the staff at the Roscommon Hospice.
Beloved daughter of the late Billy and Anna (nee Johnston).
Forever missed by her heartbroken husband Pat, and treasured children; Joanna, Martina and Patrick. Loving sister of Phil (Hayden) Creevy, and brothers; William (Dublin), Oscar (Castlecoote), Pat (Ballyshannon), and Michael (Knockcroghery). Her son-in-law Rónán, and Patrick’s girlfriend Caitríona, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, friends and neighbours, deeply regret her passing.
May Mary rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Wednesday evening from 5 o’ clock until 7 o’ clock. Removal from her home on Thursday morning at 10:30am arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’ clock, burial afterwards in St. Coman’s Cemetery.
House strictly private.
The Hughes family very much appreciate your kindness and support at this time. They would also like to acknowledge the devoted care and respect shown to Mary by the staff at the Roscommon Hospice during her final illness. Family flowers only please.
