Mary Alice Grier (née Heslin) died on the 31st May 2026 peacefully at the Hermitage Clinic.
Predeceased by her husband Stephen Grier, son-in -law Shane McGuigan, and nephew-in-law John Grier.
Beloved and dear mother to Mary and Elaine. Sadly missed by her family, son-in-law Philip McGurran, grandson Shane McGuigan, sister Margaret, brothers Jimmy, Mick, Peter, and Eamonn, brother-in-laws, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.
May She Rest in Peace.
Mary will repose at Smith’s Funeral Home Barrack St. Granard (N39AX97) on Monday the 1st June from 5pm to 7pm.
Removal to St. Mary’s Church Carra on Tuesday 2nd June for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in adjoining cemetery
Family flowers by request, donations in lieu if desired to the Irish Cancer Society or the Cancer Support Sanctuary LARCC c/o Smith’s Funeral Directors or any family member.
