Martin (Mattie) Carney died on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026 peacefully at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe with his loving family by his side.
Predeceased by his parents; Annie and Martin and brother-in-law Michael Creighton. He will be sadly missed by his loving sisters; Mary, Elizabeth and Teresa, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law; Billy Mullen and Michael Wyer, extended family, relatives and by his many good neighbours, friends and work colleagues.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday evening from 5 o’clock until 6.30pm, followed by removal to St John’s Church, Lecarrow.
Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
