Tuesday, September 30th, 2025. Peacefully, in the great care of the staff at Roscommon Hospice, after a long illness bravely bourne, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her beloved parents Elizabeth and Joe and her brother Michael.
Lovingly remembered by her husband Séan, her sons John, Barry and Alan. Sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Elisabeth, Geraldine and Angie. Adored by her grandchildren Senan, Fionn, Éabha, Catherine, Johanna, Emma, Julia and James. Deeply regretted by her sisters Peggy (John), Geraldine (Eamonn), Deirdre (Chris) and Therese (Michael), her sister-in-law Anne, her brother-in-law Michael, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Moran’s Funeral Home, Ballygar on Wednesday evening from 5.30 pm until 7.30 pm. Removal from her residence on Thursday morning for Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church Ballygar at 12 o’clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House Private Please. Family flowers only by request. Donations if desired to Roscommon Hospice.

Sean, John, Barry and Alan wish to thank most sincerely all the staff in the Roscommon Hospice and the Galway Clinic for their wonderful care and kindness to Marie over the last few months. We would also like to thank our extended family, neighbours and friends for their help and support at this time.
